Paperbag Skirt 3
Ich habe mir einen neuen Rock genäht. Schon wieder, so begeistert bin ich von meiner Anleitung. Dieses mal habe ich den Rock aus einem Tischläufer genäht. Meine Mutter würde warscheinlich sagen, dass man das auch sieht, aber mir gefällt das Rosenmuster und die Farben. Der Stoff eignet sich auch sehr gut als Rock, weil er kaum knittert.
I made another Skirt after my tutorial. This time I made it out of a table runner. I know some of you -just like my mother- would say that it looks exactly like that, but I love the rose pattern, the colours and the fabric.

Ich habe diesen Rock genauso gemacht wie die anderen (hier und hier). Dieses mal habe ich die Falten etwas weiter unten angefangen, sie sind 1cm schmaler als bei dem letzten Rock und anstatt eines Reißverschlusses habe ich schöne Perlmuttknöpfe angenäht.
I made the skirt just like my other skirts (here and here), just that I didn´t use a zipper but beautiful mother of pearl buttons.
Die Fotos hat eine Freundin von mir am Sonntag gemacht. Der Tag war wunderschön, sonnig aber eiskalt. Die vier Minuten, in denen wir fotografiert hatten, hatten sich angefühlt wie Stunden. Leider ist mir erst jetzt grade aufgefallen, dass der Schal gar nicht zu den Farben meines Outfits passt und dass ich mein T-Shirt nicht richtig in den Rock gesteckt hab. Aber ich glaube das ist nicht so schlimm, oder?
I took the pictures of the skirt with a friend on sunday. The day was beautiful but freezing cold. The four minutes of the fotoshoot felt like hours. Unfortunatly I only see now that my skarf does not really go well with the colour palett of my outfit and that I didnt tuck in my shirt very well. But that´s not too bad, right?
Bevor ich mich mit meiner Freundin getroffen hatte, war ich mit einem Freund erst bei Großmama und dann noch an der Elbe spazieren. Die Elbe ist im Moment zugefroren und sieht wunderschön aus. Leider finden das auch tausende ander Leute, die mit uns an ihr entlanggepilgert sind, so dass es uns eher vorkam, als ob wir auf einer Demo unterwegs waren und nicht auf einem gemütlichen Sonntagsspaziergang.
Before I went to see my friend who took the fotos, I went for a walk along the Elbe with another friend. I love the river Elbe when its frozen up. I think it looks very nice. Unfortunatly thousands of people think so too and go for walks aswell hence you feel like being on a demonstration rather that a peaceful sunday afternoon walk.
